A PRA can help inform—that is, provide scientific and other evidence to support decisions—several situations in plant health. In Lesson 3, we will introduce you to three fundamental types of PRA and explore their usefulness.

By the end of Less on 3, you will have a good understanding of the various situations that may require conducting a pest risk analysis (PRA). Particular emphasis will be placed on organism and pathway PRAs and a specific type of pathway PRA—commodity PRA—will also be discussed.
